Dalio is an award-winning performer whose stage credits include leading roles in such Broadway shows as Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Les Miserables and Miss Saigon as well as leading roles in regional performances of West Side Story, Pippin, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamboat, Dracula, Aida, South Pacific, Children of Eden, The Fantasticks and Romance/Romance. He has performed throughout the United States and Europe as a vocalist, actor, pianist, director, musical director and conductor. On Bass Guitar for NYSOM is Mike Ravenda formerly with Baby Blue, a touring band during the 70’s and 80’s. His resounding bass and wide vocal range made them one of the most popular bands in both the New England and New Jersey club circuits. Anchoring the line-up on Drums is Paul Dinkin. Having lived and played on both coasts, Paul has performed with many top shelf musicians in both the LA and NY/NJ Metro circuits. "Dink" has established his forte as a pocket player that combines studio steadiness with powerful, live performances
Before teaming up with New York State of Mind, Dave Battelene toured the globe with the famed Commodores, sessioned with Lenny Kravitz and enjoyed international success as a founding member of the band Djinn, which featured Mr. Mister lyricist, John Lange on lead vocals. Dave is also the lead man for the well followed local band, Red House.
A New Jersey native, Steve Schwesinger began studying saxophone at a very young age. He has studied various forms of music from R&B to Jazz to the rockin’ sounds of Billy Joel. He continues to perform with numerous bands throughout the Tri-State area. NYSOM is lucky to have him.
Jenna Ravenda is a graduate of New Jersey City University with a degree in Music Education and a concentration in classical and musical theatre voice. She is currently a private voice and piano instructor in North Jersey. She is an active performer in NY/NJ. Some favorite credits include Urinetown (Little Sally), Spelling Bee (Olive/Logainne), Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey), Les Misérables (Cosette), The Secret Garden (Lily), and Little Women (Jo March). She has spent countless hours in the recording studio doing original music but also in collaboration with GKM, Sony Records, and The Metropolitan Opera. Jenna has appeared in the USA World Showcase at The MGM Grand in Las Vegas, NV where she took first place in "Best Original Song." Additionally she has performed with the Encore Orchestra of New Jersey and at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and NJPAC where she had the pleasure of opening for Kool and The Gang. #dominatelife #likethegarden
Ashley Leone is a graduate of New Jersey City University with a BA in Music. She works professionally in the NJ/NYC area. As a freelance musician, Isaac Ezekiel Del Rosario spends a majority of his time in the greater New York City area. He performs mainly as an accompanist in the styles of classical, jazz and theatre music. Specializing in music education, Isaac has an affinity for teaching piano and general music studies. In his free time he provides audio/visual assistance for DJ's across the Tri-State area. Isaac hopes to combine his passion for music and formal education in building a lifelong career in the music industry.
